That is what Patrick Prior from the Legal Tech Directory wanted to know from me.
To this admittedly not entirely serious question, I responded as follows:
➡️ For me, a digital law firm strategy with a focus on personal support works very well. The use of legal tech tools does not contradict this approach; rather, in my view, it forms a successful complement to my personal advisory approach.
1️⃣ A modern service offering makes access to legal services easier for many people because they can obtain advice in a very straightforward manner.
2️⃣ The time I save through the use of legal tech tools benefits my clients, as I have more time for their support.
3️⃣ In my view, building a foundation of trust and a personal relationship with new clients does not necessarily require a personal meeting. Building trust also works very well over the phone or during a video call.
4️⃣ For me, personal advice means less “meeting in person” and more having an open ear for my clients’ needs and giving them the feeling that they are in good hands with me regarding their concerns and requirements.
➡️ Not everyone appreciates a digital offering, and that is also acceptable. Ultimately, people with a similar mindset end up working with me, which makes the collaboration very pleasant because the lawyer and the client “speak the same language.”
